Unclaimed Funds
Pursuant to Government Code ยง 50050-50056, unclaimed funds shall be deposited into a trust fund held by the County Treasurer. Funds that remain unclaimed for a period of three years shall be published in a local newspaper. Funds that remain unclaimed 45 days after published notice shall revert to the appropriate agency/fund as indicated by law.
